Milestone Celebrations
The single most underrated retention lever in wellness coaching is the celebration moment. When a client hits a milestone and feels seen by their practitioner, their commitment to the program deepens dramatically. When the moment passes unnoticed, motivation quietly erodes.
This automation never lets a milestone pass.
Built-in milestone library
Out of the box, the system detects:
- Weight goals — 5%, 10%, 15% body weight reduction
- Habit streaks — 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 365 days
- Biomarker improvements — HbA1c, hormone panels, GI tests (configurable)
- Photo-tracked transformations — before/after deltas (opt-in)
- Strength gains — 1RM, reps, walking distance
- Sleep improvements — week-over-week trend lift
- Program completion — first program, second program, anniversary
Add your own milestones during onboarding.
What fires when a milestone hits
Step 1 — Private celebration text
Personalized message from the practitioner (snippet-powered, edited and sent in seconds):
“OMG [name] — just saw you hit your 30-day streak. This is the moment so many people quit. You didn’t. So proud of you.”
Step 2 — Optional group-channel shoutout
For clients in group programs (opt-in):
“Cheering for [first name] who just hit her 30-day streak 🎉 Drop her a high-five 👏“
Step 3 — Progress-photo opt-in
“Want to capture the moment? Quick photo upload here — fully private unless you choose to share it.”
Step 4 — Review/referral trigger
The same milestone triggers the review-ask sequence and the referral-ask sequence (configurable cadence so they don’t overlap).
Why this works
People stick with coaches who notice them. The automation doesn’t replace the noticing — it surfaces the moments worth noticing, and gives the practitioner a 30-second path to respond meaningfully. That’s the difference between a thank-you text and a relationship.
Configurable cadence to prevent burnout
You can throttle celebrations to prevent celebration-fatigue. Some clients respond best to one big celebration per milestone; others to micro-celebrations along the way. Configured per program during your setup hours.
